People always say Monday Blues but for me today, Friday i am feeling sad and blue...
My only collegue who has been working on-site with me in Hanoi has flown back to Melbourne today. We had a small party last night, with his family and a few other nice people we have met from our company's other counterpart in Hanoi.
I am going to miss him. He has been very patient and good to me, and i thank him for that.
Well Gerry, here's wishing you, Viet Anh, little Patrick and soon little baby all the best of luck.

Rain Rain..Go Away!
I was supposed to go to Hue (Central Vietnam) this evening, unfortunately my flight got cancelled due to heavy rain and thunderstorm. Not sure whether that same heavy rain that flooded my home back in Alor Setar and had my mum evacuated to my aunty's place, but i could not board that flight.
My friends from Ho Chi Minh City and i were supposed to meet up in Hue for this trip. We were planning to rent 4 bikes and 1 car, drive from Hue to Hoi An, passing by Danang. We were suppposed to enjoy one of the best scenery on road in Vietnam at that journey.
Ah well, can't predict the weather *sigh*.. ooohhh, and we will miss our Vietnamese cooking lesson at Hoi An! Damn!
Hmmm... i guess there's nothing much for me to do this weekend but laze around the sofa watching TV, as usual. or maybe (even maybe) i will take out the bicycle and give it a nice good spank..oops bath! I think it's time...

memang soi la...!
baru jer aku missed flight last trip back, kali nih luggage aku delay la pulak!
asyik asyik aku jer yang kena..memang soi! kali nih aku balik Hanoi, ada dua luggage..satu tu selamat dalam dokonganku tapi backpack aku yang cun-mun tak keluaq keluaq dari revolving belt tu. Dalam hati aku ingat la maybe orang lain yang amik, dah sumpah seranah dah aku kat orang tu. Then tetiba aku terdengar ada a few people yang sama flight aku complain pasai luggage hilang. Apa lagi aku pon join the crowd la. Aku siap suruh dia bawa aku naik kete round track luggage cabin jalan lagi you (tapi dia tak setuju la bawa aku, dia cuba ingat aku nih gila jer la dgn permintaan aku tu..) So dia pun tolong aku buat report missing luggage.. aku pun sign la dgn hati yang sedih. Dok pikiaq segala bra and underwear aku kat dalam tu, charger laptop aku, dengan teh 18 tahun kita tu Suraya...masya'llah!
Korang tau, pompuan yang tolong aku isi borang tu siap suruh aku datang balik airport kalau dah jumpa beg aku...ada ka patut!!!! dah hilangkan beg aku nih nak suruh aku datang balik! Naik angin aku dengar..dah la dengan tido for only 1 hour sebelum tu, aku naik suara cakap diaorang yang kena hantar kat apartment aku, mana ada aku yang kena datang balik airport!!!!!
Anyway, dah tak boleh buat apa2 dah..dengan boss aku calling-calling tanya aku dah masuk kerja ka belum, naiklah taxi balik rumah, mandi then pi kerja. Ngantuk gila nak mampos!
(nasib baik spenda biru ku ada lagi untuk tampung aku malam tu...hehehehe)
The next day, selepas aku dah tunggu 29 jam dan 30 minute, akhirnya beg aku sampai..alhamdullilah! check semua ok, teh china tua tu ada lagi, spenda semua tak kena curi..so semua selamat lah!.
Then terdetik dalam hati aku untuk buat claim, claim baggage delay. Selalu kan masa beli tiket kita beli travel insurance sekali kan. Aku laa..setiap flight mesti beli punya. So aku pun email la kat address Air Asia aku dapat kat website, tanya macamana nak buat claim semua kejadah..tiga hari tak jawap-jawap (kata jawap dalam 24 jam!). Anyway, cuba call call center Air Asia, asyik dok suruh aku call Premium Line dia. Fine, dial-dial tak boleh. Rupa-rupanya tak leh nak call kalau duduk luaq Malaysia -_- Bodoh tak! Macam la Air Asia nih ada kat Malaysia ja.
Memang bengang dah aku...Last-last aku mintak tolong Lilot tolong call dari KL, in the meantime aku akan hantar all the details of my flight to her. Then baru aku perasan..........dalam banyak-banyak flight aku pernah amik........dalam banyak-banyak tiket aku dah pernah booking........dalam banyak-banyak......yang nih aku tak beli insurance!!!!! f#@%*&@!!!!!

Blame the hensem boy
tak tau la aku nih pasai tak nak balik ka..pasai masih angau jumpa mamat hensem semalam kat petrol pam ka...boleh aku miss flight aku! Terpaksa aku beli tiket baru. Sakit hati wooh bayar. Ada lah aku sempat tanya cik mek ticketing officer tu kalau boleh aku tak nak amik meal on board tu (tak sedap pun nasi lemak dia!!) then harga tiket boleh dikurangkan lagi... nasib baik dia tak sengkek kepala aku!

Howdy Friends..
Today i have decided to tanya khabaq my kengkawan..my prengs yang ada baca blog aku and pernah komen la yek. Ok so in alphabetical order:
Dolly - Yang, tetiba aku teringat masa kita main sambung citer kat atas tilam aku masa Kolej 7..sejak hang ditinggalkan tu. Citer bukan2 but i like it...ingat?!
Lilut - Dah dapat kerja baru ka? Anyway, aku ada tuak dari Korea (ka Jepun tak ingat la..) nak ar? Boleh kita buat macam tahun lepas?
Sumalee - Dudette, pasai hang call aku tadi la aku tetiba teringin nak tulis blog ni. Jangan lupa MC 2 hari lepas trip Europe tu! hehehehehe
Suraya - Hang dah meracau kopi ka masa sahur tadi? Lepas tu ada tak hang ingat nak menggalas beg pi kerja? kalau tak pi buat sekarang then tangkap gambar bagi aku tengok :-)
Zaliha - What's up doc? Lama tak dengar khabaq. Anak hang pun aku belum pernah lagi tengok ..bila nak postkan gambar?

Book of the Millenium
The above three sums it all for Stieg Larsson's millenium trilogy.
I came across this author when his book was (and still) is the number 1 read in the chart. So i decided to get the first book - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Since then i was hooked!
I finished the first one in two days (it's quite thick), then the second - The Girl who Played with Fire in four days (i was being lazy), and now the final book (which i am still reading) The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, the author's final book before he passed away.
You know how it is when you are so engrossed with the story that you had to finish it, that was what i did..i roamed the streets of Hanoi on my bicycle (which i don't do often) searching for the third and final book, and finally found it at a shop called Bookworm (duh!!), which was very near where i stay.
The author based his book's main character, Lisbeth Salander, on Pippi Longstocking, the famous fictional character in a series of children's books by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. Nine-year-old Pippi is unconventional, assertive, and has superhuman strength, being able to lift her horse one-handed without difficulty. She frequently mocks and dupes adults she encounters, usually reserves her worst behavior for the most pompous and condescending of adults.
For Stieg Larsson's version, Lisbeth was intended as "gone wrong version" of Pippi Longstocking. Lisbeth is unconventional, can bestow terrible damage to whoever mistreats her and, just like Pippi, toys easily with people older than her and who believe they can outsmart her, when it truly is her who has the upper hand all along. Also, like Pippi, she demonstrates an indestructible moral sense that functions only under her own personal terms.
It might not sound that interesting here but just get the book and read it.
For me, I might get Pippi as my next 'burnt the midnight oil' read, getting curious now... :-)
